'Honor,' the Shenzhen-based smartphone manufacturer formerly owned by Huawei, has unveiled the 'Magic V' foldable dual-screen smartphone. The Magic V features a 7.9-inch internal display that boasts 2272 x 1984 resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate. The second screen, the external screen, features a 6.45-inch display with a resolution of 2560 x 1080 and a 120Hz refresh rate.
The screens on this phone are large and high-performance, though the quality of the screens does not end there. Honor has stated that its upcoming Magic V is the first foldable smartphone to receive 'IMAX Enhanced' certification. When folded open, the Magic V screen is creaseless due to its 'water-drop' hinge mechanism. The Magic V is based on Android 12 and features a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset, meaning it is fast and compatible with most Android devices.
