New Balance’s Made in U.K. line is turning 40 this year, and with the help of Flimby factory base where New Balance crafts its items, the label is adding a new series of silhouettes to its current lineup. Emerging in a grey and navy makeup, the 1500 silhouette is crafted with grey leather uppers, mudgards, medials, and heel counters, while a lighter tone on the ankles and tongues provides contrast.
The pair boasts navy leather trimmings below the laces and 2D ‘N’ logos on the laterals, while the model number is embroidered on the heel counters. The sneakers are rounded out by a set of aged ENCAP midsoles that come decorated with New Balance branding.
