NOWNESS.com premieres a global debut short film with supermodel Kristen McMenamy for the MAC Reel Sexy Collection. Directed by husband Miles Aldridge, the film reveals the impetuous acting of McMenamy in quintessential bold hues of acid pink, green and orange. McMenamy’s cosmetics is bold and fierce from face to nails in this 1940s setting.
Canvased with the MAC Reel Sexy makeup collection, McMenamy gives it her all in this emotional and well-played role of a melodramatic heroine. MAC’s Senior Vice President and Group Creative Director James Gager cast McMenamy for this perfect role and states, "there is nothing that isn’t dramatic about Kristen, from her statuesque body and long gray hair, to the way she carries herself."
Although McMenamy is glamorized in MAC’s trademark bold fashion, the springtime colors can be used in a toned down complexion. These beautifully bold shades can be worn as sheer washes of pastel color. MAC’s Reel Sexy Collection launches in the US on April 5th and internationally in May 2012.
