After parting ways with XSET in August 2022, the content creator recently confirmed the launch of M80 through the introduction of a VALORANT roster called the Bomb Squad. The roster currently hosts several professional players like former NRG player Daniel ‘eeiu’ Vucenovic, ec Version1 player Alexander ‘Zander’ Dituri, and former Ghost Gaming players Mohamed ‘johnqt’ Amine Ouarid, Gianfranco ‘koalanoob’ Potestio, and Marc-Andre ‘NiSMO’ Tayar.
Additionally, the organization's motto, "All paths lead to ascension," alludes to a new competition run by Riot Games. The Challengers Ascension circuit will serve as a regional qualifying tournament for the EMEA, Americas, and Pacific international leagues. Teams who make it through the qualifiers will be able to compete in the International League.
