A striking and responsive luminous exhibition is being held until December 20th, 2019 in London's Victoria Miro Gallery. The installation is conceptualized by American artist Doug Aitken and it is considered to offer up audiences "a portrait of the present."
The luminous exhibition is made out of two installations — 'All Doors Open' and 'Inside Out.' The artworks have color-changing capabilities and they emit a soft light that slightly "pulsates in sync with choral soundscapes." The pieces explore our revolving relationships with technology, more specifically -- the connected world, as well as our attitudes toward one another.
As this is a popular topic in the contemporary landscape and one that many can relate to, Doug Aitken's luminous exhibition is bound to stir up some interest.
