Luisa Montealegre Turns Old VHS Tapes into Awesome Tables

Luisa Montealegre has found a good use for old VHS tapes. She has created a table, dubbed ‘Blanquita,’ out of 92 VHS tapes. What have you done with your old VHS tapes?

Most tapes are either boxed up or stacked in a corner somewhere. Luisa Montealegre has created one of the cooler coffee tables I have ever seen. VHS tapes are an untapped building material. They are relatively inexpensive and stack quite easily. I look forward to seeing more VHS furniture from Luisa Montealegre and other designers.
