Australian footwear brand Blundstone has introduced an all-new boot silhouette called the 'Lug Boot,' which offers an updated take on the brand's iconic Originals Chelsea boot.
The new Lug Boot features a familiar Blundstone design but blends workwear and lifestyle categories more than previous models. As a result, the rubberized boot has more streetwear appeal than the Originals Chelsea while maintaining the brand's signature vegan leather construction. In addition, it features a much thicker sole, which plays into today's chunky sole footwear trend.
"The Lug Boot Collection was born out of wanting to create an urban boot that nods to the current chunky sole trend while still offering wearers the dependability of a boot that has been developed for industrial working conditions," said Joe Carfora, Blundstone’s Global and Ancillaries Range Manager.
