Motion-Sensing Bike Lights

AI image recognition and countless algorithms have aimed to make cycling safer, but the Lucnt SRL1 is the first bike peripheral to look at the bigger picture and address the problem simply. Instead of relying on over-bloated technology, the Lucnt SRL1 uses a motion sensor to measure acceleration or braking and applies that information to a brake light. This simple piece of tech is a huge safety increase for bike riders, as it accurately relays information to anyone behind the rider and can ensure that actions are carried out safely.

The simple concept of the Lucnt SRL1 is shown not only in its function, but also in its design. The entire device is milled out a solid block of aircraft-grade aluminum, making the device incredibly durable. Inside the aluminum housing are four LEDs, as well as the sensors that track motion. The Lucnt SRL1 is capable of two different modes: a steady mode that shines all four LEDs at 10% intensity when in motion and 100% when braking. The device also has a blinking mode that indicates speed to the driver behind the rider. The Lucnt SRL1 is fully waterproof and can be run for 20 hours on a single charge.
