Lowe’s is implementing an interactive digital replica of its stores within the NVIDIA Omniverse Enterprise. This feature will allow associates to visualize store data by accessing digital models from a desktop computer. Additionally, by using ‘AR X-ray Vision,’ store associates will be able to view items on higher shelves instead of climbing up a ladder to check manually. By using Magic Leap 2 augmented reality headsets, Lowe’s plans to elevate its in-store experience to provide consumers with service unlike any other.
Lowe’s is also planning to integrate photo-realistic 3D product assets so they are able to access a Lowe’s Open Builder library in the new Omniverse update.
"Through emerging technology, we are always imagining and testing ways to improve store operations and remove friction for our customers," said Seemantini Godbole from Lowe’s.
