These bold images from Louise McNaught are an impressive representation of the prolific young artists's body of work. The striking mixed media images feature exotic animals like zebras, stags and a number of birds whose natural coloring has been replaced with acid-bright florescent colors. The London-based artist creates her images using a number of different mediums from paint, pencils and ink.
In her own words, the artist says she uses a "neon color palette to depict the presence of nature in her work, where the animals are God-like, sublime and ethereal in their luminescence." The talented artist obviously gains a lot of her inspiration from the beauty of nature and the natural world. Louise McNaught is a promising young graduate who recently gained a Degree in Fine Art from the University of Greenwich.
