Louis Vuitton debuted a very forties-inspired Spring 2009 RTW collection at Paris Fashion Week that featured ostrich-feather dresses and skirts.
Designed by Marc Jacobs, the collection went for a heavily embellished look with loads of flair and a bit of an exotic undertone. However, as this was a ready to wear collection, Jacobs kept it chic and practical--unlike John Galliano, who always goes for the extreme.
