Tesla is bringing back its long-range RWD Model 3, however, the feature will be exclusive for Chinese consumers. The company has already begun production of the long-range RWD model 3 at the Shanghai factory, following approval from the government, which was granted a month previously. The company initially discounted the option for the dual-motor, all-wheel-drive version.
According to the New European Driving Cycle, the standard version of the car has a range of 276 miles, however, the long-range RWD Model three has a 425-mile range.
The increased options may entice Chinese consumers, especially as the range of the car is drastically increased when compared to the standard version of the car.
