'Loft H' Makes the Most of Limited Space for an Owner and Two Cats

'Loft H,' a two-bedroom flat in Taipei, Taiwan, isn't just designed for its human resident. ST Studio, the Taiwanese design firm behind Loft H, also took its owner's two cats into consideration when updating the space.

Rent is high in Taipei, and space is limited. As a result, ST Studio chose to design Loft H's layout to maximize the relatively limited space available in the two-bedroom apartment. This meant using an open-concept design that takes advantage of the space's windows to create as airy of a feel as possible.

In terms of feline design, Loft H is a cat's utopia. The apartment is full of greenery, letting cats feel more comfortable when indoors for long periods of time. Further, the apartment's shelving units are all long volumes on which the cats can run around and play.
