School buses are typically only used as the vehicles to transport kids to the fun-filled destinations for a class field trip, but aerospace company Lockheed Martin found a creative way to completely transform ordinary bus rides.
Lockheed Martin created a virtual reality bus experience, which involved taking a real school bus on the road, which had its windows turned into HD screens. Kids in STEM were made to feel as if they were touring the surface of Mars in the future, where there were there was evidence of colonization beginning to happen.
As well as being incredibly inspiring to kids, the dynamic virtual reality experience has the potential to change the way classroom learning and field trips happen in the future.
