Léo Gratier, a young graphic designer and the founder or Alpha’art, an independent clothing label, recently created a series of images that focus on some of the most popular television series of recent times.
He makes graphic promotional posters for each using a limited range of pastel colors and simple silhouettes rather than focusing on small details. Included in the series are renditions are West World, Stranger Things and The Young People.
One piece that especially stands out is Léo Gratier's poster for Narcos, which shows Wagner Moura, who plays Pablo Escobar, leaning while smoking a cigarette. A fluid white line represents the smoke that emits from it, while hues of light pink and blue interchange to mark different parts of the drug lord's shirt and hair.
