From the studded jewels mixed with autumn-hued beads to the use of wood in the collection, the designer was influenced by "mid-century American architecture," as were design houses Proenza Schouler and Derek Lam, according to Fashionologie.
Fortunato's favorite pieces from the collection are "the result of her collaboration with Arthur Kemelman, a woodworker from Israel who hand-carved a necklace and bracelet and then painted them with gold leaf." She says, "Each piece of wood is unique...and the result is exquisite."
