Flying in the face of traditional cribs -- almost literally -- is the Little Nest. It's a felt cradle hanging that hangs from the ceiling in order to mimic the comforting space of the womb. Made with newborn babies in mind, the Little Nest "reacts gently to every move or wiggle by a baby," writes Design Milk. "Gentle swaying then lulls and comforts a restless child."
Designed by Oszkar Vagi, the Little Nest is made out of a single piece of Merino wool. It is double layered and handcrafted by master hatter László Girardi, who finished the Little Nest with a leather strap. Sturdy and safe, it offers an alternative to parents who are looking for something both stylish and different. It's made for modern lifestyles.
