The Liquid Image Ego LS is a high-tech camera, unveiled at CES 2015, that is able to provide live streaming over the Verizon 4G LTE network and Verizon's new XLTE service, which offers double the bandwidth of a regular 4G LTE connection.
This camera can be mounted independently or on another object and can shoot either 1080p/30 frames per second or 720p/60 frames per second video using its 8MP CMOS sensor and a 145-degree fixed-focus lens.
In addition to its ability to stream audio and video via 4G LTE, it can also stream via Wi-Fi or record footage onto a Micro SD/SDXC card.
The Liquid Image Ego LS is going to be priced at around $400, and is set to be ready for shipping in the coming months. Versions designed for use with networks in other countries are expected to be released later this year.
