The Liquid Geology table collection has been designed by Mat Bernes of the CAN Studio as a furniture lineup that doesn't hold back when it comes to personality, texture and natural inspiration.
The various tables in the collection are achieved with steel enamel tops along with rubber-coated bases that combine to create a varied appearance and finish. The rubber material on the base is meant to mimic natural rock formations, but in a decidedly lighter manner thanks to its recycled car tire construction.
The Liquid Geology table collection features each of the tabletops fired in a kiln at 820-degrees Celsius after being coated with blue, green and orange enamel. This gives each of the tables their distinct appearance that mimics natural cuts of stone.
