Los Angeles-based designer has designed the first calendar to show one year's worth of events on a single, easy-to-read timeline: the Linear Calendar.
The timeline helps us to visualize time more naturally and fluidly. Instead of having a calendar where you go through every week, every row, every page you have to flip through, you simply have a linear timeline for the entire year. Months are separated only by a single black line with weekends in grey.
The visual aesthetics are minimal, but clear. The calendar helps us to visualize our dates or deadlines and even birthdays in a clear-cut and effective way that resonates with our own perception of time. The calendar can be hung horizontally or diagonally. You can choose to write on the calendar or even stick post-it notes.
