Lincoln Chauffeur Lets Owners Request A Private Driver Via App

At the 2017 New York Auto Show Lincoln announced "Lincoln Chauffeur," a new service for those who buy or lease its cars. The service allows owners to request a driver, one who has been vetted and hired by the company, to come and drive them around. In addition to driving you from A to B the Lincoln Chauffeur drivers are also available to run simple errands like filling the car up with gas or buying groceries.

Lincoln Chauffeur works via app and will be rolled out on a pilot basis in Miami before being extended to other U.S. cities. Lincoln has been offering customers there a $250 credit for the program, which is estimated to cost around $30 an hour. Although Lincoln Chauffeur may never take off like Uber the fact that the company offers it may be enough to sway some buyers on the fence.
