Surfaces company Armourcoat introduces a collection of textured and sustainable paints for interiors with the Limewash collection. It is developed to honor the unique look and feel of traditional limewash itself. The team wanted to create a surface coating that can be used in both residential and commercial spaces. It finishes with a matte appearance and comes in 45 shades in total. It blends with water for walls and has a more chalky finish than traditional formulas.
Creative director Duncan MacKellar shares, "Here at Armourcoat we believe material transparency is fundamental to designing beautiful interiors that have minimal impact on our planet. Our goal as creative manufacturers is to reduce both embodied carbon and environmental toxins, and ultimately drive sustainable innovation within the built environment. With our Environmental and Health Product Declarations, architects and designers can be confident that all Armourcoat finishes align with efforts to create environmentally conscious, healthy interiors."
