The Lighthouse Office has been designed by architects Kagan Taylor and Justin Rice of Knowhow Shop as an office space in their backyard to offer dedicated space for working on and showcasing their craft.
The compact micro structure is made with a series of prefabricated panels that have been placed onto industrial casters sourced from industrial dumpsters to make it easily moved around. The right angle-free door enters into a creative interior space that is bathed in light during the day thanks to a custom-made skylight and an expansive window on the front.
The Lighthouse Office speaks to the increasing need for creative solutions for work spaces as the amount of available area to build large structures in urban areas continues to dwindle.
