Light Cave is a massive art installation, put together by Los Angeles-based art collective FriendsWithYou, that is described as a "living breathing monument." This large-scale installation is fully inflatable and measures 55 x 25 x 14 feet. It is on display at the Standard High Line Plaza in New York, where it will remain through the month of September. Guests to the Standard High Line Plaza will have to pass through the sculpture to enter the hotel, and will be treated to a rich sensory experience in the process.
Artists Samuel Borkson and Arturo Sandoval III say that Light Cave offers an interactive experience that is "manifested with the purpose of joining people together in a metaphysical sense."
