McLaren has released its new GT model, the very first of its lifestyle vehicles. The focus of the design is to mix performance with a large interior. The model is intended to be comfortable on extended trips. This was done through changing much of car's design, including the engine placement and the layout of the exhaust.
The new McLaren features a MonoCell II-T monocoque exterior, which has a carbon fiber section on the upper back of the car. The car has a V8 engine that can bring the car into speeds of 60 mph in 3.1 seconds. The GT model also has 620 horsepower and a top speed of 203 mph. McLaren is starting the manufacturing process and is expected to have its lifestyle vehicle available to drive by the end of 2019.
