Bigger isn't always better where smartphones are concerned, and the new LG Q8 is an update on the hardware company's flagship V20 model that opts for a reduction in size rather than an increase. The new model, which is expected to be released to consumers by the end of the month, is part of LG's effort to build out its Q series of mid-tier smartphones.
Like the V20 before it, the LG Q8 is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor. It has four gigabytes of RAM and 32 gigabytes of internal storage (on top of a slot for a microSD card on the inside). Its camera is also a 16-megapixel lens with an 8-megapixel secondary lens for wide-angle shots.
The major difference between the Q8 and the V20 is the screen size, with the Q8's measuring just 5.2 inches.
