The Lexus NX Receives an Icy Overhaul with Tires Made from Solid Ice

Lexus has been making waves in the marketing world over the past year for a variety of different artistic endeavors of which this Lexus NX with ice wheels is surely a part of. Created by the London-based Hamilton Ice Sculptors, the Lexus NX ice wheels were designed to fully withstand the weight of the luxury vehicle and took four sculptors a total of 36-hours per wheel.

Outfitted with LEDs for an added effect, the Lexus NX was put into a five day deep freeze to enable it to be ready for driving around London. After the freeze, the Lexus NX started promptly on the first try and drove out into the streets. Part of the brand's impressive initiative to garner attention from Millennials, the final product is literally one of the coolest innovations of the year.
