Luxury fashion label Helmut Lang draws in the talents of American photographer Leigh Ledare for its fourth artist series installment. The collection is comprised of both t-shirts, long sleeve shirts, and posters featuring three different pieces of work by Ledare. The visuals are drawn directly from the photographer's 2008 series entitled 'Personal Commissions.' In this series, Leigh Ledare answers personal ads posted by women and paid them to take photos of himself, giving them the liberty to choose the settings and give their own artistic direction.
The posters and the front of the long sleeve shirts, and t-shirts feature these photographs. On the rear of the shirts, there are textual details. Notably, 15% of the proceeds will be going towards ACLU, a charity chosen by Leigh himself.
