Nerdy building block projects don't come any more detailed and fantastic than this new LEGO X-Wing set.
This LEGO set is meant for the serious collector and Star Wars connoisseur. In fact, I'm not sure I've ever seen a LEGO set with a recommended age of 16+ printed on the box, which somehow means that this LEGO set is less child-appropriate than some incredibly gruesome PG-13 horror movies. For the inner-child supporting adults out there, this 1,558 piece set will likely take a good amount time to put together. You hope it would, considering that the set goes for a rather steep $200, which is actually a significant price drop from the previous LEGO X-Wing set now sells for an exhorbitant $1,300 on eBay now.
After the construction is done, this incredibly detailed LEGO X-Wing will be ready for a Death Star trench run or the slightly less dangerous mission of being an awesome display piece.
