This LEGO turntable is just one example at how playing with the block toys can be beneficial when you get older. Built by North Korean LEGO fan Hayarobi, the fully functioning record player is made out of LEGO bricks.
Called 'The Planet,' the audio equipment is an old school 45 RPM turntable. It took 2,405 LEGO pieces to make and even comes equipped with LEGO speakers. The only non-LEGO piece is an Audio Technica phono cartridge.
Hayarobi chose a vintage inspired color palette consisting of brown, black and cream for his LEGO turntable. If you choose to try this at home, you could obviously switch things up and make a more colorful version, or even a sleek all black music player.
