Colorful 'Animation Station' Camcorder Set to Sell in Summer

According to Digital Blue, a LEGO-licensed video camera called the ‘LEGO Animation Station’ is in the works. It is part of a line of digital cameras, PMPs, and walkie-talkies for children. All of the items will have a LEGO look, but won’t be made out of LEGO blocks.

The camcorder will feature a 1.4″ color LCD flip-out display, five-way navigation pad on the back, record/function buttons on top and a detachable remote control. A how-to guide for shooting video and video-editing software for the PC will be included in the camcorder package.

Digital Blue is scheduled to have the LEGO Animation Station Video Camera on seller’s shelves this summer/fall. It will retail for about $80.
