Echo System took the sorts of old wooden palettes that you find in warehouses and storage lots and used them to assemble one of the master's armchairs.
The result is a timber frame with gaps beneath the seat, behind the backrest and inside the armrests. These can conveniently become cubbies for books and other assorted items within your lounge. These little niches can even be used when the LC2 Chair is made more comfortable with cushions -- upholstery that would also come from pre-used materials.
