The Dell Latitude Rugged Extreme laptops are highly rugged laptops that are built to withstand extreme outdoor conditions and are targeted towards military, public safety and other professionals working in harsh conditions. The Latitude 12 and Latitude 14 laptops feature 12-inch and 14-inch screens respectively
The Latitude Rugged Extreme laptops are built with impact-resistant, ultra-polymers and magnesium alloy and have been drop-tested from a height of 1.82 meters. The laptops feature sealed ports and Dell's proprietary QuadCool thermal management system, which enables the laptops to be used in temperatures ranging from -20 degrees to 63 degrees Centigrade.
The laptops come with memory options ranging from 4 GB to 16 GB and up to 512 GB of storage, as well as a Full HD webcam. The Latitude 12 also has an 8-megapixel flash camera at the bottom and has resistive multi-touch functionality, making it easy to use even when the user is wearing thick gloves.
The Latitude 12 and Latitude 14 laptops will be priced starting at $3,649 and $3,499 respectively.
