If you are a commuter with a type A boss who is getting suspicious of your frequent tardiness, this button will send a late note to him or her when your train gets delayed. From GoMetro in South Africa, the Email My Boss feature enables users to request an email late note through their phone when delays with public transit make them late.
The result is workers who are late through no fault of their own can avoid waiting in long lines or suspicion from co-workers. The GoMetro GoTravel app launched the feature recently and is as easy to use as a simple press of a button. Users will also have to fill in their name, boss's name, boss's email address and the train line they were on. It does not require an internet connection either.
