As the artist draws, Arad's installation replicates every stroke. A replica of the artist's fist with a diamond ring on it is used to carve out the drawing onto a pane of glass.
The inspiration behind the name of the installation came from Ron Arad's memory of a man drawing on train windows with his ring. Last Train almost has a surreal and dream-like effect to it from the fist that seems like it's floating in the air. Since we can't see the owner of the fist, the installation feels like the man from Arad's memory is scratching on the window.
