During the registration process for Lady Matchmaker, users must pass a short video test in order to confirm that they are, in fact, who they purport to be in the pictures that they upload. This prevents catfishing, which is a common problem in online dating where people use pictures that are not their own.

Aside from the catfishing prevention, Lady Matchmaker offers two subscription options that are perfect for working professionals. The 'Kiss' subscription lets users have more freedom in their matches. Similar to dating applications like 'Tinder,' users will be presented with a scrolling feed of potential matches that they can decide upon themselves. The other subscription option is the 'Relationship' tier, which offers all of the benefits of the Kiss tier, plus additional guided features. The Relationship tier will automatically curate matches based on a compatibility formula, and it will set up calls between potential matches.
