The Italian health startup Lac2Biome has developed a skincare blend that contains live probiotics. Founded in 2019, Lac2Biome specializes in microbiome research and has come out with a white label product available for purchase.
This new product is called InfiniteSkin Microbiome Serum and is made with a blend of hyaluronic acids and a strain of live probiotics. After much research, the company settled on a live probiotic strain known as 'm.biomeLiveSkin88' to formulate their product. The live probiotic is broken down into a powder and is stored separately from the hyaluronic serum until ready to apply to the skin.
This formula delivers roughly eight billion CFUs of probiotics to the skin. Once the power and serum are blended, the product must be refrigerated. InfiniteSkin Microbiom Serum offers skincare brands the opportunity to tap into the ever-growing microbiome market.
