Apparently the folks at Laan Labs have been hard at work because they’ve created this amazing 3D Video using ‘String Augmented Reality SDK,’ showing this clip in real-time 3D video and audio. Armed with Kinect and an iPad, Laan Labs were able to create this tiny peek into the future.
As a child, I always imagined that by the time I grew up, everyone would have holographic phones -- sort of like the holographic projectors they have on Star Trek. It seems that technology is getting closer to holographic phone calls, which gives me hope for the flying cars and robot maids I've been waiting for.
Laan Labs makes you think of the different possibilities to look forward to and alters current versions and perceptions of reality.
