The Vogue Japan October 2014 La Canzone Del Mare editorial takes readers on a tour of the high seas. Models Nadja Bender, Kinga Rajzak and Dalianah Arekion posed before sprawling mountains and water beds, all the while dressed head to toe in the remarkable ensembles of stylists Anna Dello Russo and Giovanna Battaglia.
Both Russo and Battaglia chose to work with a series of patterns and prints for La Canzone Del Mare. Their vision came to life via dresses lined with boats and signs, long skirts embossed with floral shapes, bustiers featuring swirling gold designs and free flowing pieces lined with thick yellow stripes.
In addition to the ornamental decor present, Russo and Battaglia also made use of drooping, over the top earrings that arguably stole this Vogue Japan show.
