During Seoul Fashion Week 2017, a 6 day event that started on March 27th and ended on April 1st, KYE debuted its eccentric Fall/Winter line of apparel.
The styles have a clear retro vibe, with furs, leopard prints, velour, and oversized cuts used plentifully. A variety of the pieces, namely sweaters and accessories, also come with bedazzled detailing, which helps to give the line a bit of a nostalgic feel. Although prints vary greatly, a few standout pieces feature collages of cash, snakeskin, and a unique kind of emoji camouflage. The latter is featured on everything from beige miniskirts, to bright pink and red blazers.
Despite the retro vibe of the apparel, KYE's runway show had a futuristic aesthetic to it, as models posed with powerful red makeup, and sported modern accessories and cuts.
