British photographer Robert Harper's latest shoot, a Kristy Kaurova Velour Magazine August 2011 editorial, is a vivid illustration of the power of simplicity and minimalism when trying to create an organically sensual shoot.

Well styled in a series of diverse, retro influenced outfits (high-waisted denim shorts, crop tops, checkered dresses, overalls, striped onesies), Kristy Kaurova manages to display a casual innocence without giving up an ounce of sex appeal.

There's nothing in the background except a plain, tan wall, forcing the viewer to focus on Kaurova's slender body, angular face, and her incredible "girl next door" outfits.

The short white dress is emblematic of the editorial's theme -- so basic as to seem deliberately bland, but rapturously sexual.
