This system uses color theory to correct the tone of hair. For example, blondes looking to neutralize the yellow undertones in their hair would use a purple Touche Chromatique pen to fight against the wrong pigment, whereas a brunette looking to reduce red tones would use the green-toned pen. Each of the Touche Chromatique Kits includes a color-correcting pen, a mask, a mixing bowl and a spatula. With these tools, users can easily mix the color together for fool-proof, at-home color correction.
According to Kérastase celebrity hairstylist Matt Fugate, "This collection is great because it makes hair more luminous and reflective and it also battles tonal loss (fading) by giving you a booster that you can use at home to maintain beautiful color."
