Minimalist Pop-Up Hotels

The KOTI Installation is Listed on Airbnb for Travelers

The KOTI Installation sits in the Institut Finlandais and recently launched during Maison et Objet.

The installation comes with the slogan "Have a Sleepover in Finland. Wake up in Paris." It consists of six different indoor cottages that were all inspired by traditional Finnish design during their construction. The miniature cottages have sliding doors, are made up of wood paneling and feature beds and sparse decor. In the middle of the installation there are communal spaces for visitors to interact with one another. The pale, minimalist design of the KOTI installation is what makes its theme so apparent -- despite the fact that the space is in France, it feels as though it is in Finland.

The KOTI installation is available on Airbnb for those who are looking to visit.
