Klein Vision's Aircar Has Been Granted a Certification of Airworthiness

The Klein Vision AirCar is a transforming land-air vehicle that completed its first successful test flight in 2020 following years of R&D. This AirCar has undergone over 70 hours of test flights since then and has now been granted a Certificate of Airworthiness from the Slovak Transport Authority. Each of these test flights were in accordance with the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA), which outlines requirements for takeoff, landing, speed, and safety.

This AirCar, now being certified airworthy, opens the door for mass production. This vehicle has a required takeoff speed of 71.5 mp/h and an air travel speed of 112mph. These speeds mean that travel is still impractical for crowded city streets due to the large amount of space needed for takeoff and landing, and the high speed required for takeoff.

Klein Vision is already working on newer, enhanced versions of the aircar that can deliver faster speeds and greater fuel efficiency in a more convenient design.
