Deceptive Palatable Packaging

The Kleenex Dessert Boxes Look Sickeningly Sweet

One benefit to having a Christmastime cold might be cake-flavored facial tissues, but unfortunately these Kleenex dessert boxes keep up appearances only. Shaped and printed to look like slices of pie and cake or tins of chocolates, this palatable packaging is good enough to eat.

Hiroko Sanders is the illustrator behind the Kleenex dessert boxes, and I'm pleased to note that she did quite a bit of her own baking research before getting the branding right. These tissue boxes will be hitting the shelves soon, but expect them to stick around ready for all other cake-worthy occasions of the new year.
