Powered by a combination of Barco projection technology and the Dolby Atmos system, a new cinema experience entitled Ultra Laser has been launched by Belgian movie theater chain Kinepolis.
The unique system will offer an immersive cinema experience powered by top of the line technologies from both the audio and visual realms. The Barco projection system used in the Ultra Laser system boasts a 3D laser system.
The Ultra Laser system was launched by Kinepolis in December 2014 and incorporates the Dolby Atmos program boasting 64 unique sound channels that was first introduced by Dolby in 2012. The Dolby Atmos system is just now being rolled out to major cinema chains despite its release coming almost three years ago.
