These furniture pieces help kids concentrate through good design. A group of students from the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts took into consideration how children study and focus in different environments. Experimenting with different systems and taking into consideration ergonomic restrictions, the young design group was able to launch The Classroom project as part of this year's Stockholm Furniture Fair.
The dynamic and simplistic designs of the furniture—from foldable desks to squshy abstract seats—guarantee to lengthen the time during which kids concentrate and engage with the classroom material. To ensure success of the project, the designs were informed by observations of typical school days and specific class subjects. Thus, the materials, forms and purposes of the furniture pieces vary.
