Sonic recently began offering a limited-edition Kickin' Cajun Cheeseburger that draws inspiration from Creole cuisine. The new burger demonstrates how many fast food brands are turning to regional recipes and ingredients in an effort to develop new and exciting flavor combinations.
The new Kickin' Cajun Cheeseburger is a limited-edition menu item currently available in Louisiana. The burger consists of a beef patty topped with Tabasco-brand spicy mayo, fried onion strings, lettuce and tomato slices. The burger is also served with a packet of Tony Chachere’s Famous Creole Seasoning so that consumers can season their burger to their preferred level of spiciness. The fiery new burger is exactly the same as the brand's University of Louisiana-themed creation, which is served during football season and comes with an edible Ragin’ Cajuns logo on the bun.
