KG Motors' 'mibot' Offers Enhanced Mobility

Hiroshima-based 'KG Motors' has introduced the 'mibot,' an ultra-compact electric vehicle tailored for urban mobility. Specifically designed to cater to Japan's aging population, the mibot offers a more accessible and user-friendly alternative to conventional mobility options. With a price tag of one million Yen (approximately £5,000), it's positioned as an affordable yet innovative solution for solo drivers.

The mibot's small footprint- measuring just 1.1 meters wide, 2.5 meters long, and under 1.5 meters high- allows it to navigate Japan's narrow streets easily. Despite its compact size, this single-seater vehicle includes 45kg of cargo space, a glass panel roof, and a modern interior equipped with an 8-inch touchscreen and air conditioning.

Offering an everyday range of about 100km and a top speed of 60km/h, the mibot combines efficiency with practicality. Charging takes around five hours, and the vehicle also features connectivity for over-the-air updates, making it a tech-forward choice for urban commuting.
