Hungry Fried Chicken Ads

This KFC Campaign Replaces Kids' Grins with Drumstick-Shaped Mouths

These clever print ads are a part of the latest Malaysian KFC campaign and use simple shapes to directly market their products in a creative way. The ads each feature a bold red background with a white outline of a little boy or girl's head turned up to the ceiling, grinning with happiness from a KFC meal.

Instead of thin curved lips however, their smiles are replaced by food-shaped mouths. A drumstick, burger and carton of fries replace the ordinary shape of a grin, showing the consumer what made this child so happy and sparking hunger in them as well.

The only words on the ads, "so good" are placed at the bottom in between the children's hands, which are each positioned in the way they'd be eating the different KFC meals. The effective ads were created by BBDO Proximity Malaysia in an effort to show the real moments sparked by eating KFC, while simultaneously targeting a younger market.
